In his letter printed in the Sun on Jan. 28, Richard E. Law lamented the lack of big band and other types of music being available on TV.
It actually is, but you have to have Cox’s high-definition service, where you’ll find Music Choice, with more than 100 channels of music, including big bands, jazz, blues and standards. The channels also show facts about the artists while the music plays.
Cox also has on-demand music videos of all kinds. We often spend hours listening to MC. It’s much better than SiriusXM (which I also have).
I don’t work for Cox. The service isn’t cheap, but we think it’s worth it.
