Pete Seeger defined folk music

I listened to the Pete Seeger song “Where Have All the Flowers Gone?” on an oldies radio station many times when I was growing up, and he had a great voice.

Many of his songs have social or political themes, and they not only helped define the meaning of American pop culture but also the meaning of American folk music.

We will all remember him as the “Godfather of American folk music” always and forever.

Pete Seeger, RIP.
