UNLV athletic director Tina Kunzer-Murphy talks during a news conference for the Heart of Dallas Bowl Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013 at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas.

Three employees in UNLV Athletics’ marketing department submitted their resignations on Tuesday, Athletic Director Tina Kunzer-Murphy confirmed today.

Jason Finfrock, Marques Pfaff and Chris Bonnell “each came in individually and presented me with their letter of resignation and I accepted,” Kunzer-Murphy said.

Finfrock declined comment when reached by the Sun by phone Tuesday night, and Pfaff replied to a text this afternoon.

“I have no comment on anything related to UNLV other than to say I enjoyed my time there, I appreciate the opportunities and wish them the best of luck,” he said.

Bonnell and Pfaff had been at UNLV for multiple years, while Finfrock was a Kunzer-Murphy hire. The son of former UNLV interim Athletic Director Dennis Finfrock, Jason Finfrock had previously worked for the Thomas & Mack Center.

Kunzer-Murphy said the program was moving on.

“I’m not going to have any further comment,” she said. “I want people who want to be here.”
