Box cutter used in attack in northwest Las Vegas

Metro Police arrested a man suspected of attacking another person with a box cutter Monday afternoon in northwest Las Vegas.

Metro responded about 12:30 p.m. to the attack at Rainbow Boulevard and Gowan Road. The victim suffered a minor cut wound, police said.

The suspect escaped to the nearby apartment complex at 7075 Gowan Road, where police arrested him nearly two hours later.
