Police: Man found dead in downtown apartment may have been in argument with two others

Man found dead in apartment

A man was shot dead Saturday evening at an apartment near downtown Las Vegas.

Metro Police Officer Larry Hadfield said the man’s body was found about 5 p.m. in the 2300 block of Sunrise Avenue after people reported hearing gunshots in the area.

Early reports indicate the man may have been arguing with two other men before the shooting. No other details were available Sunday afternoon.

The shooting is Metro’s 10th homicide this year.
