Coroner identifies boy, 14, killed on motorbike

A boy who died after his motorbike collided with a truck Thursday near Boulder City has been identified as Christian Hipsky-Stringer, 14, of Canon City, Colo., according to the Clark County Coroner’s Office.

The teen was riding a Kawasaki dirt bike on State Route 165 near U.S. 95, west of Nelson’s Landing, when he collided with a white pickup truck about 2:30 p.m., according to the Nevada Highway Patrol. The area is about 14 miles south of Boulder City.

Hipsky-Stringer was declared dead at the scene. The cause of death has not yet been determined.

No other injuries were reported.
