A girl said she ran away after a man ordered her to get into this van, captured by surveillance cameras at a nearby convenience store, according to North Las Vegas Police.

North Las Vegas Police warn students returning to school today to be on the lookout for two men in a minivan suspected of possibly attempting to kidnap a girl on her way to class.

Police received reports of the possible attempted kidnapping Dec. 18 near Von Tobel Middle School.

A student was walking in the 2900 block of North Las Vegas Boulevard, near Pecos Road, when a Hispanic man, who appeared to be about 30 years old, ordered her inside a van driven by another Hispanic man, police said. There were two other girls in the van who appeared to be teens, police said.

The girl ran away and notified school police. The van was described as an older, boxy, maroon minivan, possibly a Chevrolet Astrovan.
