Authorities say a motorist was hurt, but the driver and another person in a food truck escaped injury in a crash that tipped the boxy vehicle on its side northeast of downtown Las Vegas.
Las Vegas police Lt. David Gordon tells KSNV-TV the food truck collided with a Toyota Camry a little after 5:45 a.m. Friday on Lake Mead Boulevard near Nellis Boulevard.
The food truck driver told police she swerved to avoid a white pickup truck before the crash.
The Toyota driver was taken to University Medical Center in Las Vegas with injuries that police said didn't appear to be life-threatening.
Police are continuing to investigate.
