Letter to the editor:

GOP hasn’t won the election yet

This is an open letter to all you political poll enthusiasts who think the trend is leaning toward a Republican victory in the November election.

Lest you forget how all the Fox News polls had Mitt Romney as our new president. How did that work out for you?

Try taking the Republican poll on the Internet that asks you to rate President Barack Obama. I did and rated him as favorable, and it would not accept my polling data unless I verified my email address — without a place to verify it.

The next day, I took the same online poll and gave him a negative rating. It added me to the data.

Millions of dollars have been spent to degrade the new health care law, and even some of the more sensible medias are spewing the ads’ idiotic hype.

If you are a senior like me, you know it has saved you thousands of dollars and gives you the possibility to extend your life with the new free wellness check-ups.

I will not be one of the naysayers who rant that Obamacare is a flop because it had some Internet problems. The only real flop in our health care system is what the insurance companies have created for decades, and you expect Obama to fix it in a year or two.

If you honestly believe that Obama’s poll numbers are falling, then you surely must believe that the approval ratings of congressional Republicans are polling below 10 percent.

Those who count their chickens before they hatch usually come up a few dozen short.
