Three people were injured Monday after their car crashed into a power pole on East Russell Road, according to Metro Police.
A 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis driven by Las Vegas resident Regina St. Denis, 46, was traveling westbound on Russell Road approaching Sandhill Road when it ran off the right side of the road and onto the sidewalk, police said. The car continued west on the sidewalk until the right front hit the fixed power pole. The car rotated clockwise and came to rest facing northeast across the westbound lanes of Russell Road.
All three occupants were taken to Sunrise Hospital. As of late Monday, St. Denis was in serious condition, passenger Larry O'Donnell, 44, of Las Vegas, was in moderate condition, and rear passenger Mitchell Harlin, 60, of Nashville, Tenn., was in critical condition, police said.
The collision remains under investigation.
