Metro Police responded to reports of a sinkhole in the 100 block of Albert Avenue near Koval Lane and Flamingo Road Monday afternoon, Lt. David Valenta said.
Dispatchers received a call at about 3:15 p.m. Units arrived at the scene and isolated the 1-foot-wide, 10-inch-deep sinkhole, rerouting traffic with cones, he said.
Crews from the Southern Nevada Water Authority are on site to fix a leak in a service line that may have caused the hole, company spokesman Bronson Mack said.
