A man accused of firing a gun at the Excalibur during a scuffle with members of the Thunder From Down Under male revue will face trial for a second time in September.
Joey Kadmiri’s first trial ended abruptly last week two days into testimony when District Court Judge Jerome Tao declared a mistrial because jurors admitted to talking about the strength of the prosecutors’ evidence.
The new trial is scheduled for Sept. 2.
Kadmiri faces more than a dozen charges that include felony attempted murder and armed robbery in the March 18 incident at the Excalibur, where Thunder from Down Under performs.
