Man struck on I-15 near Moapa identified as Las Vegas resident

The man who was struck and killed Wednesday by a passing vehicle while crossing Interstate 15 near Moapa has been identified by the Clark County Coroner's office.

Roger Blaine Boyd, 45, of Las Vegas died from multiple blunt force injuries, according to the coroner's office.​

Boyd crossed the northbound lanes of the interstate about 1 a.m. after his vehicle had reportedly broken down near a construction site, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.
