Maricela Faurrieta Suarez and an unidentified man are seen in a photo released by Metro Police.

Metro Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a man who reportedly went out with 34-year-old Maricela Faurrieta Suarez the night before she was found dead last week on a northeast Las Vegas Valley street.

The man, who has been described as her boyfriend, went out with Suarez on Friday night, police said.

Suarez was found in the roadway in the 1200 block of Fairchild Street — near Washington Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard — at 5:47 a.m. the next day with a gunshot wound to the head, police said.

They believe she was killed at another location before being left on the street.

Detectives are looking for the location and identity of the man pictured, as well as information about where he and Suarez were that night and who took the photo.

Suarez's death is being investigated as a homicide.

Anyone with information about the crime, or the identity and whereabouts of the man in the photo, is urged to contact the Metro's Homicide Section at 702-828-3521. To remain anonymous contact Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555 or at crimestoppersofnv.com.
