Two of three southbound lanes of Interstate 15 between Silverado Ranch Boulevard and St. Rose Parkway will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for the next three days for roadwork on the Cactus Avenue interchange project, the Nevada Department of Transportation said today.
The lane closures begin tonight and end Friday morning, officials said.
The $62 million project will reduce traffic congestion and provide drivers in the southwestern area of Las Vegas with an alternate route to access the interstate, the department said.
The project is planned to be completed in the fall.
