States working together at border

Great, it’s about time Texas Gov. Rick Perry put 1,000 National Guard troops on his border with Mexico. What is Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer waiting for? She’s been complaining about illegal immigrants in her state for a while.

I hope she’s not waiting for our president to make a move on this subject. It will cost Texas $12 million a month.

Why don’t other states offer to help with that bill— not just border states but anywhere people in the country illegally are winding up? These 57,000 unaccompanied minors are already here and being shipped to who-knows-where.

If this continues, there will be 90,000 of these kids in our country by the end of the year.

Why should Texas bear the brunt of the bill? What about New Mexico and California sending their guard troops to the border?

This could work if other states offer financial assistance.
