Metro Police has released the names of the three Metro officers who confronted Jerad and Amanda Miller in a gunfight at a Wal-Mart on Sunday.

Timothy Gross, Zack Beal and Brett Brosnahan were the officers who exchanged gunfire with the couple after a shooting rampage left three dead, including one civilian and two Metro officers.

Gross, 49, has served at Metro since 1995. Beal, 25, has served since 2007, and Brosnahan, 33, has been with the department since 2009. All three have been placed on administrative leave as is standard following officer-involved shootings, according to a Metro press release.

Early reports stated that Jerad Miller was shot by his wife, Amanda, as part of a suicide pact, however, Metro officials have since said that it was gunfire from the responding officers that killed him. It's not yet known which officer fired the shots that killed Jerad Miller.
