A Southern Nevada drug task force has arrested a man suspected of operating a marijuana grow house in Henderson, authorities said.
The Southern Nevada Cannabis Operation and Regional Enforcement team seized 10 marijuana plants in a raid Monday on a rental home in the 1000 block of Marlberry Place, near Greenway Road and Boulder Highway, Metro Police Officer Laura Meltzer said. The house could accommodate up to 100 marijuana plants, she said.
Police arrested Paul Okashiga in connection with the grow house, authorities said. Okashiga was arrested on counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, possession of a controlled substance, and being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm.
The task force is made up of officers from Metro Police, Henderson Police and the Drug Enforcement Agency.
