John Kerry seems like a fine gentleman. He speaks well and answers questions well, but his visits to countries in the Middle East hardly ever get results.
He seems to be doing shuttle diplomacy, but the diplomacy isn’t changing anything with the United States and other countries.
He doesn’t seem to have Henry Kissinger’s political detente. We threaten but don’t follow through. This administration needs more assertiveness.
