To all Americans who have become so naive about oil in our country: We are the only country in which oil rights go to the private sector.
If our government owned the oil and gained from the profits, our taxes could be lowered to nothing.
People like the Koch brothers are making huge profits off a substance that all Americans should benefit from — similar to Alaska, where residents get returns from the oil in the state.
Even though the oil companies are making huge profits, our government gives them million of dollars in subsidies.
Wake up, America. Stop giving the Koch brothers millions of dollars and make our country rich again.
