Motorcyclist dies from injuries suffered in February wreck

A 62-year-old Las Vegas man injured last month in a motorcycle accident west of Las Vegas has died, the Nevada Highway Patrol reported today.

Robert Neal Parsons, Las Vegas, was traveling north on State Route 160 about 1:45 p.m. Feb. 20 when his Harley Davidson left the roadway. The bike struck a bush and threw Parsons, according to the patrol.

Parsons was transported to University Medical Center for treatment. He was pronounced dead shortly before 5 p.m. Thursday, the patrol said in a news release.
