Police: Bike-riding duo beat, rob 85-year-old woman

Metro Police are searching for a bicycle-riding duo suspected of beating and robbing an 85-year-old woman in a parking lot near Rainbow Boulevard and Spring Valley Road.

Two men attacked the woman about 4 p.m. on March 21, police said.

Both suspects escaped on red and black BMX-style bikes, with one riding east on Spring Valley and the other north on Dale Road, police said. The woman was injured in the attack, police said.

Both suspects were described as 18- to 25-year-old Hispanic men. One was between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall and about 150 pounds. He was wearing a gray or tan shirt, black pants and a black baseball hat.

The other suspect was about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighed about 150 pounds. He was wearing a black shirt and pants.
