Runaway returned unharmed to Henderson behavioral institute

A 16-year-old who ran away from the Seven Hills Behavioral Institute on Thursday has been located, according to Henderson Police.

Authorities issued an alert Thursday asking for the public’s help finding Kaelan Brabham, who needed his diabetes medication. The teen was seen running away from the facility about 5:45 p.m. Thursday, police said.

The boy was found about 8 a.m. today on Las Vegas Boulevard near Hacienda Avenue, police said. He was unharmed.

Authorities returned him to the institute at 3021 W. Horizon Ridge Parkway in Henderson.

It’s unclear why the teen is at the institute. Police said he is from Arizona and does not have family or friends in the area.
