RENO — Cole Huff, a forward who was an honorable mention All-Mountain West Conference selection as a sophomore at Nevada this past season, has announced he plans to transfer to Creighton.
Huff of Altadena, California announced last month he planned to leave Nevada. The Reno Gazette-Journal reports (http://tinyurl.com/kwlzmc5 ) the 6-foot-8 swing man confirmed on Twitter Sunday night that he will enroll at Creighton in the Big East Conference. He'll have two years of eligibility remaining after sitting out next season because of NCAA transfer rules.
Huff averaged 12.4 points and 5.4 rebounds per game last season. He led the Wolf Pack in 3-point-shooting accuracy (40.3 percent) and free-throw accuracy (82.2 percent).
