Four children complained of stomach pain this morning after taking candy from a stranger at a bus stop near Warm Springs and Bermuda roads, according to Clark County School District Police.
An older man walking his dog handed out candy to the children while they waited for a bus bound for Louis Wiener Jr. and Charlotte Hill elementary schools, Cpt. Ken Young said.
The children, who were between 8 and 9, complained of stomach pain after boarding the bus, he said. Young said the children were checked out and determined to be fine.
Police aren’t doing a full investigation, but are looking into what happened, Young said.
“It’s concerning anytime you have kids who are taking candy from strangers,” Young said.
