Fire ripped through three houses under construction in the southwest Las Vegas Valley this morning, causing an estimated $250,000 damage.
Flames erupted about 1 a.m. at the houses in the 7300 block of Rainford Drive, near Warm Springs and Fort Apache roads, Clark County Deputy Fire Chief Jon Klassen said.
Crews spent 36 minutes bringing the heavy fire under control, Klassen said.
One home was destroyed, another was badly burned and a third sustained minor damage, he said.
No injuries were reported.
