Gorman’s Robotham picks Akron

Bishop Gorman High point guard Noah Robotham, the state’s Gatorade player of the year, verbally committed to Akron basketball today on social media.

“I‘ve decided to attend the University of Akron! Thanks to all who supported me..can’t wait to get out to Ohio & start a new chapter #GoZips,” he posted on Twitter.

The senior averaged 16 points, 7.1 assists and 3.1 steals per game in helping Gorman win its third consecutive state championship.

He picked Akron over Milwaukee and Tennessee-Martin.
