51s still have the best Triple-A record, beat Tacoma

Matt den Dekker and Allan Dykstra hit home runs for the Las Vegas 51s today in a five-run second inning, helping them defeat visiting Tacoma 9-4 at Cashman Field.

Omar Quintanilla, in his first game after clearing waivers from the New York Mets to their Triple-A affiliate in Las Vegas, went 2 for 4 with three RBIs and two runs. Josh Satin, another newcomer after being released by New York, had two hits.

Cesar Puello added to the Las Vegas offense with three runs. The 51s (27-11) continue to have the best record in Triple-A, leading the Pacific Coast League’s Southern Division by nine games.

The series with Tacoma will conclude at 10:35 a.m. Tuesday.
