A man fatally wounded last week in a shooting at an apartment complex in Sunrise Manor has been identified as Dan E. Archie, 24, of North Las Vegas, according to the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
Archie was found dead about 11:30 p.m. Thursday on a sidewalk in the 3400 block of Marion Drive, near North Nellis Boulevard and East Cheyenne Avenue.
He died of a gunshot wound to the abdomen, officials with the Coroner’s Office said.
Metro Police investigators determined the shooting took place about a block away, in the parking lot of the Heritage Estates Apartment Homes complex, and the victim had walked to where his body was discovered.
Witnesses told investigators they had seen the victim with three other men in the parking lot, police said. An argument reportedly took place among some of the men, and multiple shots were heard, police said.
The motive for the shooting has not been determined, police said.
