April 29 armed robbery
North Las Vegas Police are asking the public to help detectives identify two men wanted in connection with an armed robbery of a pharmacy last month.
On April 29, the suspects jumped the counter at a pharmacy in the 1800 block of East Lake Mead Boulevard and demanded money and pills, according to a North Las Vegas Police news release issued this afternoon. The men asked for painkillers and prescription stimulants by name, for example, Percocet, Xanex, Oxycodone and morphine, said Sgt. Chrissie Coon, a North Las Vegas Police spokeswoman.
One of the suspects pointed a firearm at a clerk before the men made their escape, according to the release. The clerk was not injured.
Both suspects are believed to be 22-year-old black men, about 5-feet-8-inhes tall, according to police.
One of the men weighs about 165 pounds and was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, dark glasses, a dark letterman jacket with light sleeves, and dark jeans, according to the release. The other suspect weighs 160 pounds and was last seen wearing a black hoodie with the words “Las Vegas” across the front, dark glasses, long black baggy shorts with white stripes on the sides, and black shoes, the release said.
