The Las Vegas 51s today dropped their third straight game, falling 6-5 to visiting Sacramento in the first game of a four-game series at Cashman Field.
Josh Satin went 2 for 4 with a home run and two RBIs for Las Vegas. Matt den Dekker tripled to lead off the game for the 51s and scored on Allan Dykstra’s sacrifice fly for an early 1-0 lead.
Sacramento scored four times in the sixth inning and twice in the eighth. Stephen Vogt’s two-run home run in the eighth provided the winning runs.
The 51s (32-16) have dropped five of their last six games, but still hold a 10-game lead in the Pacific Coast League’s Pacific Southern Division.
The series continues at 7:05 p.m. Saturday.
