New signage and video screens adorn the front of the D Las Vegas in downtown Las Vegas Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012.

Union members at another downtown Las Vegas casino-hotel won't be going on strike.

The D reached a contract deal with culinary and bartender union members ahead of a threatened strike this weekend.

The Culinary Union Local 226 announced the pact early Friday. It is similar to agreements with the Golden Nugget, Fremont Hotel & Casino, Main Street Station and El Cortez.

Those workers will be asked to ratify a new 5-year contract that is retroactive to June 1, 2013.

More than 1,000 restaurant, hotel and bar workers at Four Queens, Binion's, Plaza, Las Vegas Club And Golden Gate plan to walk off the job at 5 p.m. Sunday if agreements aren't reached.

The last strike in Las Vegas was at the Golden Gate in 2002.
