GOP majority will expose hypocrites

I was glad to see the Republican Party take the Senate and keep the House and governorships. This is the last hurrah for their party, and the public will finally see what they are — hypocrites.

The public voted for Republicans to get things accomplished, such as putting more Americans to work on infrastructure, raising the minimum wage and passing immigration reform. But forget about it.

There already is fighting within the party. Plans are underway to try to dismantle Obamacare piece by piece. If President Barack Obama vetoes anything, because of the Republican governors, they will go state by state. They don’t care that over 8 million people have signed up.

Republicans will try to privatize Social Security, so your grandchildren won’t have anything to rely upon. Why? To increase their share in the stock market, to have $36 billion in a gin rummy game. The market already has crashed twice in four years.

Students will see another increase in their student loan interest rates, and in Nevada, we are about to have 70,000 tons of nuclear waste. There will be no immigration reform, gun control, higher minimum wage or increasing women’s wages. Teachers, policemen and firemen, get ready to be overworked and overloaded. These are the last frontier of the middle class Republicans are trying to get rid of, not only because they are middle class, but they are unionized.

So get ready. In 2016, people finally will open their eyes. Hillary Clinton still leads in the polls.
