Police seek suspect in east valley business robbery

Metro Police say this man robbed a retail business in the east Las Vegas Valley on Monday, Nov. 17, 2014.

Metro Police are searching for a man they say robbed a retail business in the east valley Monday.

The suspect demanded cash from the register of a business in the 1900 block of North Nellis Boulevard, near Lake Mead Boulevard, and claimed to have a gun in his pocket, according to a Metro news release.

He fled the scene on foot, the release said.

Police said the suspect is a young black man about 5-feet-10 inches tall and weighing about 175 pounds.
