The Linq entertainment complex is building a winter wonderland on the Las Vegas Strip.

Home of the 550-foot High Roller observation wheel, the Linq promenade is being transformed into Winter Parq, with a tubing hill, carolers and snow, according to Caesars Entertainment.

The transformation begins Dec. 5, when the Parq plans to debut a 30-foot snowy hill for tubing behind the High Roller.

Tickets will be $5 a ride or $20 for an all-day pass. The hill will be open 4 to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday and 2 to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Carolers, decorations and holiday music will add to the holiday atmosphere at the entertainment complex.

Snow will fall across the Linq complex every half hour beginning Dec. 8, company officials said.

The High Roller will also offer several promotions, including 50 percent off tickets on Christmas and Thanksgiving Day with valid Nevada identification. All guests will be eligible for a two-for-one special on Black Friday.
