Updated Friday, Oct. 3, 2014 | 8:09 p.m.

Police said a 31-year-old motorcyclist died this afternoon in North Las Vegas after he collided with a trailer being pulled by a truck.

The incident occurred at 3:15 p.m. at Craig Road and Revere Street, North Las Vegas Police Officer Chrissie Coon said.

Coon said the motorcyclist was traveling east on Craig when a Ford F-250 with a trailer attached attempted a lane change.

The trailer clipped the motorcyclist and the man went down, sustaining fatal injuries, Coon said.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, she said.

No other injuries were reported.

The 35-year-old man driving the truck will likely face charges when the investigation is over, Coon said.

Eastbound Craig Road has been closed as police investigate the crash, she said.
