Metro Police have arrested a man they say robbed several local businesses at gunpoint.
Police said Andres Gaona-Garcia, 24, committed a string of five armed robberies in the area of Pecos Road and Washington Avenue in August and September.
He was arrested last Wednesday after robbing a cellphone business in the same area, according to Metro. An officer saw Gaona-Garcia as he was exiting the business and took him into custody without incident.
He was arrested on charges of burglary and robbery with a deadly weapon, according to booking records.
