Plan ahead for these road projects in the coming week in the Las Vegas Valley

Here’s a look at some of the roadwork or road closings you might encounter in the coming week across the Las Vegas Valley:

SHORT-TERM PROJECTS

Nevada Department of Transportation

Cheyenne Avenue from Crawford Street to Civic Center Drive: westbound traffic restricted to one travel lane overnight from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. beginning Sunday. All lanes reopen during normal business hours. Restrictions are related to sanitary sewer upgrades. End: Thursday.

Interstate 15 from Tropicana Avenue to the Spring Mountain Road flyover: traffic reduced by one lane in each direction starting at 5 a.m. Sunday for striping of express lanes. End: 1 p.m. Sunday.

Flamingo Road between Seville Street and U.S. 95: westbound traffic reduced by one lane starting at 8 p.m. Saturday for replacement of an overhead sign and graffiti barrier installation. End: 4 a.m. Sunday.

Sahara Avenue between Rancho and Highland drives: traffic restricted to two lanes for utility upgrade project. End date: 4 p.m. today.

ONGOING PROJECTS

Nevada Department of Transportation

F Street Connection Phase 3 — Interstate 15 between Washington Avenue and U.S. 95: I-15 on-ramp at D Street is closed; southbound lanes on I-15 have been moved to the northbound side and limited to two lanes in both directions. Projected end date: October.

Charleston Boulevard from Rancho Drive to Eastern Avenue: eastbound traffic reduced from three travel lanes to a single lane from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. daily for sanitary sewer upgrades. End date: Nov. 7.

Intersection of Rancho Drive and Decatur Boulevard: traffic restricted to two travel lanes in each direction for sidewalk and traffic signal upgrades. End date: Nov. 15.

U.S. 95/Interstate 515 northbound ramp to Interstate 15 northbound: traffic restricted to one 12-foot travel lane with two 1-foot-wide shoulders. Oversize trucks are advised to take the northbound U.S. 95 Rancho Road exit as an alternate and expect delays. End date: Nov. 3.

Clark County

215 Beltway between Interstate 15 and Windmill Lane: periodic nighttime lane closures for road maintenance. Projected end date: mid- to late November.

Desert Inn Road at Nellis Boulevard: street disruptions for weekday work, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., on sewer lines and manholes. Projected end date: Wednesday.

Las Vegas

215 Beltway west ramp to Durango Drive: closed beginning Sunday for bridge construction. Projected end date: Oct. 31.

Alexander Road at Torrey Pines Drive: street disruption for signal installation. Projected end date: Nov. 27.

Alexander Road at Cimarron Road: street disruption for signal installation. Projected end date: Nov. 27.

Ann Road at Cimarron Road: street disruption for signal installation. Projected end date: Nov. 27.

Ann Road at Torrey Pines Drive: street disruption for signal installation. Projected end date: Nov. 27.

Bonanza Road at Page Street: street disruption for signal installation. Projected end date: Nov. 27.

Bridger Avenue between Main Street and Sixth Street: street disruption for street, sidewalk, lighting and landscaping improvements beginning Monday. Projected end date: April 2015.

Centennial Parkway at Grand Montecito Parkway: street disruption for signal installation. Projected end date: Nov. 27.

Charleston Boulevard between Cimarron Road and Warbonnet Way: street disruptions for sewer work. Projected end date: Nov. 21.

F Street between City Center Parkway and McWilliams Avenue: street closed. Projected end date: Dec. 31.

Fort Apache Road at Deer Springs Way: closed for bridge construction. Projected end date: Feb. 28.

Hills Center Drive between Village Center Circle and Lake Mead Boulevard: street disruption for landscaping; expect delays. Projected end date: indefinite.

Lamb Boulevard at Owens Avenue: street disruption for signal installation. Projected end date: Nov. 27.

Main Street between Carson Avenue and U.S. 95: east half of the road will be closed to traffic for reconstruction of drainage facilities, sidewalk and roadway. Two-way traffic will be on the west side of Main Street with one travel lane in each direction. Projected end date: 2015.

Main Street at Stewart Avenue: street disruption for Main Street Station maintenance. Projected end date: Jan. 2.

Martin Luther King Boulevard between Bonanza Road and Mineral Avenue: street disruption for paving. Projected end date: Nov. 8.

Ogden Avenue between Main and First streets: street disruption for California Hotel sign maintenance. Projected end date: Jan. 2.

Ogden Avenue between Sixth and Seventh streets: street disruption for signal installation. Projected end date: Nov. 27.

Racel Street between Grazing Grass Street and El Capitan Way: street disruption; expect delays. Projected end date: Tuesday.

Rainbow Boulevard from Ann Road to Tropical Parkway: expect delays for storm drains construction. Projected end date: end of 2014.

Rancho Drive between Sahara Avenue and U.S. 95: intermittent lane closures while fiber optic cables, traffic signal upgrades and digital message signs are installed to improve congestion. Work will be completed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. in busy sections of the road and from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in residential sections. Projected end date: mid-November.

Rampart Boulevard between Lake Mead Boulevard and Summerlin Parkway: street disruption utility installation. Projected end date: Feb. 28.

Skye Pointe Drive at Cimarron Road: street disruption for signal installation. Projected end date: Nov. 27.

Stewart Avenue at Third Street: street disruption for signal installation. Projected end date: Nov. 27.

Washington Avenue at Sandhill Avenue: street disruption for signal installation. Projected end date: Nov. 27.

Henderson

Warm Springs Road from Arroyo Grande Boulevard to Stephanie Street: Intermittent lane restrictions for removal and replacement of asphalt pavement, sidewalk ramp replacements and re-striping bicycle lanes. Projected end date: end of 2014.

Eastern Avenue from St. Rose Parkway to Silverado Ranch Boulevard: 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sundays through Thursdays; lane restrictions for removal and replacement of asphalt pavement, sidewalk ramp replacements and creating bicycle lanes. Projected end date: end of 2014.

Whitney Ranch Drive from Russell Road to Arroyo Grande Boulevard: Intermittent lane restrictions for repaving, sidewalk ramp replacements, creating bicycle lanes and a new traffic signal at Patrick Lane. Projected end date: end of 2014.

North Las Vegas

Carey Avenue and Revere Street: intermittent street disruptions while a roundabout is removed and replaced with traffic lights. Projected end date: fall.

Losee Road and Lone Mountain Road: expect street disruptions while a pedestrian bridge is being built. Projected end date: fall.

All streets expected to reopen by Wednesday, but motorists should expect some closures to be in effect Monday and Tuesday.

Ninth Street between Carson and Ogden avenues: closed for Life is Beautiful Festival (note two west-side lanes open from Ogden partway to Fremont).

Tenth Street between Fremont and Ogden: closed for Life is Beautiful Festival.

Ogden between Ninth and alley between Tenth and 11th streets: closed for Life is Beautiful Festival (note north two lanes open).

Alley running north/south between Tenth and 11th streets: closed for Life is Beautiful Festival.

Eighth Street from Carson to Fremont: closed for Life is Beautiful Festival.

Stewart from Sixth to Seventh streets: closed for Life is Beautiful Festival.

Seventh Street from Carson to Fremont: closed for Life is Beautiful Festival.
