Police are searching for a man they say robbed a southwest valley bank with a gun this afternoon.
The man demanded money from a teller at the bank near South Fort Apache Road and Peace Way while brandishing a firearm, according to a Metro Police media release.
He fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.
The man is described as a black male in his early 20's with brown hair and brown eyes, police said.
He is between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall, and he weighs between 150 and 170 pounds, according to the statement.
The man was last seen wearing a dark cap with a light emblem on the front, a black bandana, a long-sleeve striped shirt, dark pants and a gray backpack, police said.
