A grand jury in Las Vegas has indicted a 73-year-old man on six felony charges in a shooting that left a hearing advocate wounded in a Las Vegas office building housing a Nevada agency that handles disabled worker claims.
The attempted murder, assault, battery, firearm and weapon charges lodged Wednesday against Leonard Paul Sullivan could put him in prison for the rest of his life.
Sullivan remains in custody in the Clark County on $500,000 bail.
He's due for arraignment Wednesday in Clark County District Court.
Authorities say the shooting apparently stemmed from an 11-year compensation case.
Witnesses told police that Sullivan waited for the hearing advocate before shooting him once in the chest outside the office of the Nevada Attorney for Injured Workers.
