Man killed after truck rolls over on U.S. 93

A man died Tuesday morning after his pickup truck rolled over on the U.S. 93 in Lincoln County, Nevada Highway Patrol said today.

Dexter Henry, 30, was traveling northbound on the freeway at 2:57 a.m. near mile marker 3 when he drifted partially onto unpaved road, according to Highway Patrol. He overcorrected to the right, causing his truck to rotate clockwise and overturn. Henry was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle, according to troopers.

He was pronounced dead on the scene at 4:50 a.m.

This is the 42nd fatal accident this year in Nevada Highway Patrol's southern region.
