Years ago, territories such as the Ukraine and a few others could not wait to be free of Russia. They had a very good reason. Communist Russia was the worst of the worst. Today, Russia jokingly calls itself a democracy. It has a president, Putin. I’d say he is more of a dictator than a president.
Why in God’s name separatists in the Ukraine want to be part of Russia again blows my mind.
Russia, in my way of thinking, is one step from reverting back to Communism. If these separatists are so fired up and want to be Russian citizens, pack your bags, sell your property and move to Russia.
