Metro Police say they're investigating a double shooting that left one person dead northwest of downtown Las Vegas.
Police say the incident happened a little before 5:30 a.m. Thursday at an apartment complex near Vegas Drive and Decatur Boulevard in the 4600 block of Vegas Drive.
Officer Larry Hadfield said two males were shot, including one victim who died on the scene. The second male suffered a gunshot wound and was taken to University Medical Center.
