Man sought in southeast valley bank robbery

Police are seeking information related to a bank robbery last week in the southeast valley.

According to a Metro Police news release, a white male suspect entered a grocery store the evening of Sept. 15 near Windmill Lane and Eastern Avenue.

The suspect went to the bank within the store and spoke with the teller before stepping away to speak on the phone, the release said.

He then went back to the teller with a note demanding money, according to the release.

It is unclear how much money he received from the teller.

The suspect is about 6-foot-3 and 280 pounds, according to the release. He is about 35 years old and has a lazy eye, the release said.
