Police are searching for a suspect in last week’s robbery of a bank at a southeast valley grocery store, authorities said.
On the evening of Sept. 15, a man walked into the grocery store near the intersection of Windmill Lane and Eastern Avenue and went to the in-store branch of the bank, Metro Police reported.
The man talked to a teller, stepped away to speak on the phone and then went back to the teller with a note demanding money, police said. It was unclear how much money the man received.
The suspect is about 35 years old, 6 feet, 3 inches tall, 280 pounds and has a lazy eye, police said.
Police ask that anyone with information about the robbery call Metro Police at 702-828-3591. Those wishing to remain anonymous can contact Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555 or online at crimestoppersofnv.com.
