Metro Police are asking for help finding a man accused of holding a clerk at gunpoint inside a convenience store this month.
Police said in a statement the robbery happened near Pecos Road and Washington Avenue, where a man wearing a white T-shirt, black gym shorts and black tennis shoes took $200 in cash from the store.
The suspect — said to be about 5-feet-7 inches tall, about 170 pounds, and possibly sporting a broken nose — pointed a semi-automatic handgun at a patron and then demanded money from a store clerk, police said.
Police released an image of the man in hope that someone will recognize him and call police at (702) 828-3591. Anonymous tipsters can call Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555 or visit crimestoppersofnv.com.
