The FBI this morning raided a house that county property records show is owned by rapper and music producer Rashid "Mally Mall" Jamal.

The FBI confirmed it was at the home about 6 a.m. at 4311 of East Oquendo Road, east of South Lamb Boulevard.

The agency also conducted another raid near Dean Martin Drive and Patrick Lane.

“The FBI conducted two federal search warrants in relation to an ongoing investigation,” FBI spokeswoman Bridget Pappas said in a statement.

Officials did not provide any additional details.

No arrests were made.

Pappas said records leading to the raid are sealed.

Neighbors around the Oquendo Road property said they heard loud noises this morning, including a helicopter flying overhead.

Jamal has owned the nearly three-acre property since 2005, according to records of the Clark County Assessor’s Office.

He is known around his neighborhood for his exotic animals, and animal control officers were reported to be at the house this morning.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
