Officers are investigating a report of a person bitten by a dog near a Summerlin elementary school, Metro Police said.
A male reported just after noon that he was bitten in the 8000 block of Cielo Vista Avenue, near Richard H. Bryan Elementary School, Officer Larry Hadfield said.
He took himself to a local hospital, and animal control has been advised of the incident, Hadfield said.
The extent injuries was not available.
The dog has not been located, Hadfield said.
