A person was in the hospital after being shot in the face and leg this morning in the north Las Vegas Valley, Metro Police said.
The shooting was reported at 9:12 a.m. in the 700 block of West Owens Avenue, police said.
The victim was taken to University Medical Center with injuries believed to be nonlife-threatening, police said.
No arrests have been made, police said.
An investigation indicates the incident began with an altercation at a local business, Officer Jesse Roybal said.
No additional details were immediately available.
