Anchor Bar, inventor of buffalo wing, coming to Las Vegas

It may not be Michelin starred, but Anchor Bar — the East Coast eatery that invented buffalo wings — is the latest culinary trailblazer to set up shop in Las Vegas.

The Buffalo, N.Y.-based restaurant, which created the famed wing style in 1964, plans to expand its franchise to Las Vegas in June with a location at the Venetian. The Anchor Bar currently has locations in Williamsville, New York and Ontario, Canada.

Las Vegas-based recruitment firm Epicurian Strategic Partners helped facilitate the new location. The company recently helped bring Gelato Messina and Ribs & Burgers to Downtown Summerlin.

Anchor Bar is currently hiring for its new Las Vegas location, including for a general manager position. Interested candidates should click on this link to contact them by email.
